Lake Allatoona is located northwestern Metro Atlanta. The lake offers attractions including fishing, camping, boat rentals and hiking and covers more than 2,000 acres and has 270 miles of shoreline.
Red Top Mountain State Park is located on Lake Allatoona’s shores, on the peninsula between the Allatoona and Etowah arms of the lake. Most of the north side of the lake remains isolated and is protected from land development.
